A Note From Nathan
Dear Friends,
Thank you for faithfully praying for Family Protection Ministries throughout August. It was a busy month as the California Legislature concluded its work for the year while we also managed several other important ministry responsibilities.
Please join us in praying for the following needs during September:
Please pray for Homeschool Freedom Day on September 12 at the Ronald Reagan Presidential Library. Pray that the event will be encouraging and fruitful and that everyone attending will be strengthened and equipped to defend homeschool freedom and parental rights.
Please pray for safe and smooth travel as our team travels to the Reagan Library and then to a national conference in Florida. Pray also for wisdom and unity as we work with a national strategy group to oppose the dangerous Make Homeschool Safe Act and similar proposals. Pray for an effective strategy to protect homeschool families.
Please pray for our final legislative review. The California Legislature adopted approximately 50 last-minute amendments during the final hours of the session. Pray that we will identify anything that could threaten homeschool freedom, parental rights, or private education, and that God will give us wisdom and opportunities to address any problems we discover.
