In this year-end episode of The Frontline with FPM, Nathan Pierce reflects on Godโs faithfulness, the importance of biblical freedom, and the responsibility of parents to disciple their children. Nathan references both Galatians 5:1 – a reminder that if we don’t ground our children in biblical freedom, the world will offer counterfeits that lead to bondage- and Deuteronomy 6:4-9 – a reminder of a command that God was giving to Israel, but the fundamental command here is to recognize that God is one God. There is only one God.
โWe know every good and perfect gift comes from God and so any victories that we celebrate are also from God. So as we review the victories, we review the things that God has blessed us with, let’s continue to remember that these victories are from God.โ – Nathan Pierce
He shares key legislative victories from 2025, including protecting homeschool families from student ID mandates tied to the Trevor Project (AB 727), stopping attempts to publicly disclose homeschool addresses (AB 767), and engaging on CPS-related bills and school-choice policies that would have brought new state regulations. He also warns about likely returning proposalsโsuch as the Make Homeschool Safe Act and efforts to add LGBT hotline access to private and homeschool student IDsโand asks for continued prayer as FPM prepares for a challenging new legislative season. Nathan closes with gratitude for supporters and encouragement to stand firm in defending parental rights and homeschool freedom in California.
โWe are grateful for the victories that we’ve had. We know that in California, many things have been pushed so far in terms of restriction and regulation on businesses in every area of life, but for some reason God has his hand on private homeschooling and private education in the state of California. We have tremendous freedom and we are grateful for that and we want to keep it that way. So pray for us as we continue the fight to protect your homeschool freedom rights here in California.โ – Nathan Pierce
