A Note From Nathan

Dear Friends,

As we enter November and look toward tomorrow’s election, we have much to bring before the Lord—and much for which to give thanks.

Scripture tells us:

“Give thanks in all circumstances; for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus for you.” 1 Thessalonians 5:18 (ESV)

All circumstances include the results of tomorrow’s election. Whether we welcome the outcome or find ourselves deeply concerned, God’s instruction remains the same. We are to give thanks.

That does not mean calling evil good or pretending that elections have no consequences. Decisions made by those in office affect families, churches, and our freedom to teach our children God’s truth. We should take those responsibilities seriously, vote thoughtfully, and pray earnestly. But our gratitude rests on something more enduring than an election result: God’s character, His promises, and His faithful care for His people.

Whatever tomorrow brings, He will still be sovereign. His Word will still be true. And our calling to love Him, teach our children, serve our neighbors, and stand faithfully for truth will remain.

At Family Protection Ministries, we are thankful for the freedom families continue to enjoy, for opportunities to speak truth to those in authority, and for friends like you who pray and help sustain this work. We do not take those gifts for granted.

Please join us in praying:

  • Give thanks for God’s faithfulness. Thank Him for His provision, His mercy, and the freedom we have to raise and educate our children.
  • Pray for tomorrow’s election. Ask for an honest, orderly process and for voters to exercise wisdom and discernment.
  • Pray for those who will serve in office. Ask God to turn their hearts toward truth and justice, protect parental rights, and help them understand the responsibilities God has entrusted to families.
  • Pray for our response to the results. Ask for humility when we are encouraged, steadfastness when we are disappointed, and thankful hearts in either circumstance.
  • Pray for FPM. Ask God to provide wisdom, strength, and resources as we prepare to work with those elected and continue protecting the freedom of parents to disciple their children.

Before the results are known, let us purpose in our hearts to give thanks. And after the results are known, let us continue faithfully in the work God has given us.

Thank you for praying.

In Christ,

Nathan Pierce & Family
