Dear Friends of Family Protection Ministries,
Thank you for your continued prayers. We are grateful for the many opportunities the Lord provided last month to be able to connect with families and share the vision and mission of Family Protection Ministries.
We had the privilege of attending and exhibiting at two major homeschool events. CHEA Homeschool Convention hosted at Biola University and Stoa Speech and Debate National Invitational Tournament in Tulsa, Oklahoma. At both of these gatherings, our team engaged with hundreds of private homeschooling families and provided vital resources and information about protecting homeschool freedoms in California. We are thankful for the conversations, prayers, and relationships formed.
Please join us in prayer that the seeds planted through the conversations and materials would bear fruit and that the families would be stirred to partner with us in prayer and giving. Additionally, continue to pray for the Lord’s ongoing provision and new financial support to sustain and expand our work.
As for the California legislature, they have recently moved many bills into the second house for consideration. Several have been amended and others are being held in committee. Our team is actively reviewing and tracking legislation that could affect homeschool families and parental rights. Please pray for wisdom, discernment, and stamina for our policy team as they evaluate these developments and prepare to act when needed. Also, pray that harmful bills would stall or be defeated, and positive bills that support family values would pass and succeed.
Your partnership in prayer is vital. We thank you for standing with us as we continue to defend homeschool freedom and parental rights in the state of California.
