Monthly Prayer Email – July

“First of all, then, I urge that supplications, prayers, intercessions, and thanksgivings be made for all people, for kings and all who are in high positions, that we may lead a peaceful and quiet life, godly and dignified in every way.”

1 Timothy 2:1-2

Dear FPM Prayer Partners,

We are so thankful for your continued faithfulness in prayer! Already this month, we have seen swift developments in legislation that have kept us busy.

Urgent Legislative Prayer Need โ€“ AB 727

One bill in particular, AB 727, has taken center stage. This bill would require all student ID cards in Californiaโ€”at both public schools and private collegesโ€”to include the phone number of The Trevor Project, a national LGBTQ+ advocacy hotline.

By Godโ€™s grace, an amendment was made to exempt Kโ€“12 private schools, including Christian schools and homeschool programs. However, private Christian colleges and all public schools are still impacted by this bill.

This is a dangerous direction for our state:

  • It promotes the LGBTQ+ agenda directly to students.
  • It expands state control over moral messaging in education.
  • It opens the door for increased influence over private institutions.

We believe this is another step in the ongoing effort to erode biblical values in education. Please join us in praying fervently that this bill would not move forward in the Senate Education Committee. Ask the Lord to work in the hearts of the legislators and that the truth would be brought to light. This bill is currently scheduled to be heard on July 9th.

Travel & Ministry Events

This month we are also engaged in several key events across California. Please lift these up in prayer:

  • Pray for safe travels and fruitful conversations as our team shares, equips, and encourages families and leaders.
  • Pray for the Pierce family, as weโ€™ll be traveling extensively to serve and speak this month.
  • One significant event is our Hold the Line event at the Reagan Library. Please pray that it would be impactful and inspiring for all who attend.
  • Weโ€™re also finalizing preparations for a special event in partnership with CHEA of California this August in San Diego. Pray for clarity, favor, and a strong turnout as we put the finishing touches in place.

Thank You for Standing With Us

Thank you for praying. Your prayers are vital to the work God has called us to. Whether weโ€™re in the Capitol or at a homeschool convention, we know weโ€™re not alone. We are strengthened by your support and upheld by your prayers.

God bless you,

Nathan Pierce

Capitol Day 2026

January 21

Goal: provide information about private home education to our California state legislators and their staff in a friendly, professional manner. This also allows legislators and their staff the opportunity to visit with real homeschool families.

Thank you for praying for FPM!

Your support makes this ministry happen!
