About Our Organization
Since 1986, Family Protection Ministries (FPM) has worked to defend parents’ freedom to train, educate, and care for their children privately, without governmental interference. Through legislative monitoring, research, and advocacy, we work to protect private home education and parental authority in California.
Our mission is rooted in the conviction that parents have a fundamental responsibility and right to direct their children’s education. Every aspect of our work, including the administrative tasks that keep our office running smoothly, supports this mission.
Internship Overview
We are seeking an organized, dependable college student to assist with daily office operations and administrative projects. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys helping others, keeping things organized, and supporting a team working toward an important mission.
The Administrative Assistant Intern will work directly with staff to help ensure that office tasks, records, communications, and projects are handled efficiently.
FPM’s internship program involves more than learning practical job skills. Our approach combines three essential elements: Training, Education, and Implementation. Interns develop practical administrative skills while deepening their understanding of FPM’s mission and the principles that guide our work. Through assigned reading and study guide questions, interns strengthen their critical-thinking skills, develop discernment, and learn to evaluate ideas and their implications through a Biblical worldview.
