Did you receive an email from the Department of Education?

If you filed a PSA (private school affidavit) for the 23-24 school year, you may have received an email from the California Department of Education. This email was sent to let private school administrators know about the availability of certain funds (such as those for special needs assistance), provided by the federal government for private schools.

You may be thinking, I’ve never received this email before and I’ve filed a PSA for many years. What’s different this year? The answer is simply streamlining the communication process. Most of us do not need to do anything with this at all – you can simply ignore the email. However, if you have questions about the funds, what services they can be used for, and how, you can reach out to the person at the CDE listed in the email you received.
