A Note From Nathan
Dear Friend,
As we begin August, we are grateful for the Lord’s faithfulness through a busy summer of ministry. Over the past several weeks, we have attended several homeschool conferences, encouraging families, connecting with ministry leaders, and equipping parents to stand firm in biblical truth. Thank you for your faithful prayers throughout our travels. The Lord opened many meaningful conversations, and we are grateful for the privilege of serving in this way.
Our family also celebrated a special milestone as our daughter, Abigail, was married. We are thankful for the Lord’s faithfulness throughout this season and for everyone who prayed for our family leading up to the wedding. We look forward to seeing how the Lord leads Abigail and her husband in the years ahead.
As we look toward fall, we are preparing for Homeschool Freedom Day next month at the Ronald Reagan Presidential Library. This year’s event is especially meaningful as we celebrate 40 years of ministry while equipping the next generation of homeschool families to stand for parental rights and homeschool freedom. Please pray that the Lord would use this event to strengthen families, inspire advocacy, and remind us that the freedoms we enjoy today are worth preserving for future generations.
The California Legislature has reconvened after its summer recess, and we would appreciate your continued prayers. Although much about our state’s future is uncertain, we are reminded that God is faithful and His purposes will stand. Please pray that God’s hand would be upon California, that He would guide our leaders, and that many hearts would turn toward His truth.
The Legislature is already moving quickly. With just 22 days remaining before the August 31 deadline to pass bills, these final weeks of the session will be especially busy. Please pray that God would grant legislators wisdom, soften hearts to His truth, and continue opening doors for us to be a faithful witness for Christ and an advocate for families. We would also appreciate your prayers for our team as we work diligently through these final weeks.
Please continue praying for our family’s health, strength, and wisdom as we enter a busy fall ministry season. Later this month, our second daughter will begin college to study music, marking another significant transition for our family. Please praythat the Lord would surround her with godly friendships, strengthen her faith, and use her gifts for His glory.
