Summary:
Concerns:
AB 601 is a wide reaching changing of the states CPS system. We are concerned that much of the work that FPM and HSLDA have done over the years to protect families from injustices committed by CPS will be undone by such reform. We are therefore asking to be in the loop on these changes so that we can keep abreast of how the changes might affect homeschool families.
Action Items:
- Pray that we are aware of any unintended consequences of the proposed changes.
- Pray that we would have positive working relationships with those involved.
- Pray for the author and his staff that they could have a clear vision for how to best address problems the CPS system in California.
